Support Category: User Account | Inactive Account

Specialist Notes:

In the event the user account is Inactive, please use the SR and create a ticket so that it can be escalated to the GSA Administrators.

IMPORTANT!
  • Please ensure the user email address is a federal government email address, ending in ‘.gov’ or '.mil'. If not, you may let the user know that the GSA Learning Academy Administrators advised that accounts with non-federal government emails will not be reactivated.

  • Please ensure the user email address does not end in ‘@gsa.gov’, as this would mean a GSA Employee or Contractor self-registered for a Learning Academy account, instead of waiting for the Data Feed to automatically trigger the account creation. Refer to the Learning Academy Account with @gsa.gov | No OLU Account SR instead.

WHAT SHOULD YOU KNOW?

When accounts are reactivated, they remain active for 90 days, regardless of login activity. This 90-day window allows the user time to complete their training. After this period, the account will be deactivated again, and a new reactivation request will need to be escalated if further access is required.

NOTES FOR TICKET PROCESSORS!

For the ticket, no need to ask or include any information as we do for OLU users.

Standard Response:

Thank you for your patience while I located your account.

Unfortunately, your account is currently inactive. Please allow me a brief moment while I create a ticket so we can escalate this issue to the GSA Learning Academy Administrators for further assistance.
